Creativities
I firmly believe that I can always be young if creativity exists. I’ve already held an extensive interest in exploring the rules of science since I was in Junior middle school. Just like create carbon dioxide gas from sodium bicarbonate and citric acid. And when I was in high school, although I was still fascinated in making handicrafts like wooden swords and polished knives and matching shelves, or wooden remote cars with remote modules and batteries in it in my spare time. I’ve missed loads of chances of getting involved in scientific researches due to the heavy, difficult courses.
Finally, I came to Zhejiang University and found there are way more chances. I had planty of time to do what I dreamed of before. I joined a group named WE TEAM, a platform for students to explore the knowledge beyond courses. And I’ve done lots of works at there. Including developing a set of sensors controlled by an Arduino for detecting environment nearby automatically, deploying a Wechat mini-program on Wechat platform, assembling a mini robot car with the help and support of WE TEAM.
Now, I’ve become the leader of WE TEAM after the graduation of the former leader. I’m planning to lead the group to corporate with my college and become the bridge of students and the college of optical science and engineering for further researches. Such as recommend our teammates to the labs while continuing our innovative activities.
Competitions
As mentioned in the section of Capacities, I’ve made a little progress in my college life. Including:
Second Prize in the 13th National College Student Optoelectronic Design Competition. Picture below shows the robot car we made in the competition.
First Prize in Zhejiang Division of the National College Mathematics Competition;
Third Prize in Zhejiang Province Physics Innovation Competition.
